A current project that I am working on is this bar for our kitchen. The top is made of Cherry, Oak, and Pear woods. The legs are two strips of aluminum on each side in which the top is sandwiched between. The pieces were bent to leave a gap, but as I realized were not strong enough to hold the top without bending. Structural material was then added between and on the outside of the aluminum as well as angled pieces to keep it from flexing. Minor changes and finishes will be applied and new pictures uploaded.
